Taneia Dowell

Project Discovery Director

Taneia Dowell serves as Project Discovery Director, where she leads programming that supports students and families in accessing post-secondary education, career readiness opportunities, and personal development. She oversees program design and implementation while fostering strong relationships within the communities served. Taneia thrives in logistics management and is passionate about creating authentic connections with students and families. A Charlottesville native and proud alumna of Virginia State University, she is an active community advocate. She previously served two full terms on the Charlottesville Planning Commission, with a focus on education and community development initiatives. Taneia enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and giving back to the community she calls home.
